Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We've anticipated a few questions you might have and provided the answers below. If you have additional questions, please contact Jennifer Vit.
- Is there different content on each night of the conference?
Yes. There will be a new general session each evening, as well as 8 different breakout sessions. The virtual networking will have different topics each evening, as well.
- Can I attend one night if I have a conflict with the other one?
Yes. We'd love to have you attend for whatever portion of the conference you can accommodate within your schedule.
- Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes. We are planning to record both the general sessions and the breakout sessions. Once those have been edited, they will be added to the council training page of the IECA website.
- Can staff members attend?
Yes! Several of the sessions are very relevant for county, regional, and state extension staff members. Just complete the registration to receive the links.
- What options do I have if I don't have a computer or good internet?
Please work with your regional or county director to set up viewing at your county extension office.
- Can counties set up a watch party?
It's certainly a possibility to have a watch party. However, there are 4 concurrent breakout sessions during 2 time slots. So, unless everyone would like to participate in the same session, different computers and rooms for viewing would need to be set up in the county office.
